This cake is deconstructed version of Ondeh-Ondeh / Klepon from Southeast Asian , glutinous rice balls that filled with palm sugar and coated with coconut.
A soft lightly cloudy airy pandan chiffon cake covered with vanilla chantilly and desiccated coconut topped with slow cooked coconut gula aren/palm sugar.
All the cakes from me will be freshly baked on the actual delivery / pickup day.
There are no preservatives or chemicals added, so it is best consumed within 3 days and keep refrigerated in a container at all time.
Contains : eggs, gluten and dairy.

It was such a great surprise birthday cake! Looks scrumptious and the flavour really evokes the taste of ondeh. The hint of coconut cream in the frosting combined effectively with the gula melaka filling to complete the effect. Just a suggestion of improvement: please reduce the thickness of the frosting to achieve a better balance with the filling.

Pandan ondeh cake is delicious and moist. Generous with the coconut and filling. Delivery was simple. Would be prettier as a celebration cake with more decoration on top. Will order again.
