It is a long awaited cake by most Filipino customers here in Melbourne.
I am finally able to get this recipe perfected and share it for you guys.
Ube Halaya (Ube Jam) is proudly produced at home, then added to the ingredients of chiffon cake to brings out the real Ube flavour.
This Ube Cake has 3 layers of Ube Chiffon Cake, cream cheese and Ube frosting in between layers and finally covered with finely grated Ube Chiffon.
It is perfect for any kind of celebration, isn’t overly sweet and I’m sure you’ll indulge this more than you think.
Small amount of purple food colouring added to enhance the colour of the cake.
All the cakes from me will be freshly baked on the actual delivery / pickup day.
There are no preservatives or chemicals added, so it is best consumed within 3 days and keep refrigerated in a container at all time.
Contains : eggs, gluten and dairy.

Delicious cake! the cake was soft and the filling tasted rich but not too heavy!
My sister and hubby’s wedding anniversary and their daughter bought this for them, ordered and picked up at Angela’s, and brought it at the family dinner at Stomping Ground Moorabin, took us all by surprise but eagerly ‘dig-in’, cake was finished by 8 people in one sitting! The verdict: “Beautiful😋”! Rich but moist. Best ube cake i had in Australia. I am a filipino, by the way! 😊 ~ Angela’s, my next request is: please learn, find the best recipe and make the ube muffins and ube ensaymadas, too!.. And because I couldn’t forget the ube cake, i ordered their Pandan Coconut cake and their Dubai chocolate cake… and more to try, for sure. Cheers 🥂
