We love ube products and bought this cake for a birthday in the hope that it wasn't sickly sweet as so many shop-bought ube desserts can be. Not the case here: the sponge and filling alike are well balanced, and the thick, cream cheese like filling really went well with the ultra light fluffiness of the sponge. Certainly a winner for all in our group of 12—the 8inch size was perfect for that number of pax with no leftovers :)

We were very happy with our selection, however I would add the triple chocolate to the choices.
